37 Hours per week

Plus National Essential Car user Allowance £963 per annum

So what do we want?

We are looking for someone who can match that ambition to be the new Contract Manager for Stafford Borough Council – a person to ensure we and our providers deliver on our promises to customers. 

The opportunity has arisen at a defining time as the Council transforms the way in which it delivers and supports some core frontline services. You will be responsible for monitoring a diverse range of long term major contracts including the Recycling and Waste Collection contract, Leisure and Culture Services contract and the Parking Enforcement and Car Park Management contract.

You will be able to build and maintain good relationships with external partners and providers, have proven experience of monitoring contracts, identifying and managing risks and implementing robust financial and operational controls.

You will possess commercial acumen and tenacity, with the same ambition to deliver sustainable services and obtain the best outcomes for the Borough’s communities.
